Eico ST-70 Tube Integrated Amplifier. I brought this unit up on a variac over a period of 48 hours. My findings are that this unit only has output on one channel. No matter how I configured the speaker set up or changed the controls I simply couldn't get sound from channel 2. Flaws: One of the decorative paper knob inserts is missing, pitting / oxidation on chassis, face plate needs a good cleaning (all lettering is bright and intact), output transformers have surface rust, tubes and capacitors look aged, leaky and many need replacement, case has a few slight marks, a few of the bottom plate case screws are missing. This is an original unit with original issue Eico tubes. With that stated, this unit is offered for Restoration and repair. As previously stated it only works on one channel. Before use this amplifier has to be serviced by a tech. competent in tube electronics. Due to a long period of non-use, age, and the problem discussed this unit is being sold "as is, non-working." Fisher 500-C Vintage Tube Amplifier Receiver I have no way to test this so it will be sold "as-is". It is from an estate and has been well cared for, but I really don't know much about it. I have not powered it up because it is quite old and I have been told you need to do it slowly. I have attached alot of photos so please take a look. It is in need of a good cleaning and will need new knobs and tubes but the rest of it looks pretty good... should make a great restoration project, that's about all I can tell you, but I will be listing many more items from this time period, so please come back soon. Offered here for auction is this great custom Art Deco remake of a famed vintage Magnavox single ended tube stereo amplifier with a pair of EL84/6BQ5 tubes by Mullard and they have their original silk screening on them, plus unit uses a 6EU7 original Magnavox and a Mullard Magnavox 6CA4 tube. Amp has been gone over by a tech and any parts or components out of spec have been replaced and upgraded, so unit is currently working well with that excellent tube sound that these are so known for. Has an added on/off switch with old vintage brass and red jeweled pilot light and I had added the easy connect speaker terminals on the back, plus better placed gold plated RCA inputs, please see pics. Custom paint job and base with stainless steel handles for easy handling and antique style copper feet. Sounds every bit as good as it looks. Not your average Maggie and sure to get attention.
