You are bidding on: a matched pair (2 pcs) premium TELEFUNKEN audio tubes ECC85 = 6AQ8 , made in Germany. Used in: Luxman MQ80, EAR 509, EAR 534, EAR 890 amp, Scott 335 Tuner. Experts comment to TELEFUNKEN ECC85: It´s a major improvement over typical NOS 6AQ8 = ECC85 tubes I´ve used in the past. The increased dynamics and frequency extension in bass and tremble are immediately obvious, they sound much more alive and the noise level is lower. Gray shield situated between the 2 gray dual triode plates. "O" getter halo. Old production with identical production code: 86002308 outside and near by tube No. 525, 527 on top. The tubes are new unused in original box. Tubes tested very strong on my Neuberger PRM 375 tube tester under the following conditions. (Voltage and current additional verified with digital instruments). Plate: +250 Volt, Grid: -2 Volt, Ia: 10 mA = 100% emission. Test results: No. 525 Ia= 10,9/10,6 mA, No. 527 =10,0/10,0 mA.
